You will receive six days of onsight intensive classroom training and additional training modules online. What Are We Looking For?

  • We want the successful custom residential builder looking to utilize their experience and knowledge to transition out of hands-on daily involvement in the construction process. Someone who wants to offer a unique service and become the clients advocate. The builder who regognizes that they need to diversify, and offer a service that is different than other builders in their area.
  • We want the successful entrepreneur looking for a business to grow and operate.
  • Franchising is based on a solid system. Strong candidates understand this and are willing to follow a proven program. There is comfort and support when operating a business inside of a quality franchise network.
  • UBuildIt has a strong, proven business model that just happens to be Construction Consulting. The franchise owner does NOT need a construction background. We do require that the UBuildIt Construction Consultant have residential construction management experience, local previous projects and current relationships with local, quality subcontractors. You can hire this support. Some states ask that our offices maintain a current contractors license, which you can speak to our partners about.  But you do not need to provide the subcontractor liability insurance any longer - the homeowner will support a "builders risk policy" on their own project.

Start-Up Capital

We realize that the only way your clients will know that you exist, and that your service is available, is if you properly market your area. We provide support to help you develop an appropriate marketing plan which you will execute in your area. Your first year of business will be critical to establish recognition in your market. To support your first year of start-up costs (payroll, marketing and office lease) you will need an adequate amount of liquid capital that is dedicated to operating your UBuildIt location. This can vary regionally.
